Greetings! They call me Ebenezer, but don't misunderstand- I'm reserved, but I'm no Scrooge!! Sure, I'm may not be the bubbly guy that's going to lick your face the first time I meet you. I may not be gung hohoho to jump in you lap, there's plenty of those guys here if that's what you've got on your Santa list. I am a distinguished gentleman. I like one on one time. I like to curl up beside my bestie with a good book. I like to rest be head on it while dem try to read. I consider myself well mannered. I I have some energy but I'm pretty into what you want me to do. I haven't had alot of leash walking experience but my girlfriends tell me I'm a Goood boy and getting better every day too!
They make little songs for me while we walkie... 🎤"Ebbe nee zer you're not a squeezer or a squealer, just a healer❤️ Ebbe nee nee you don't need a beanie but you dress up for Halloweenie"🎵
Come sing and walk with me. I'm up for nice strolls Once we be friends. I'm a go slow at first guy. Easy goes Ebeneezee they say. I don't mind anything right now, but this is all pretty new. I'd like a friend to make me feel safe and loved. 🟢🐈⬛ no reaction to cats. 🟢🐶 walks by dogs without reaction. Meet and greets required to determine sibling compatibility. 🟢🟡👩💼👨🌾 slow intros best with people. But seems to be easy going once trust is established. 🐾Medium energy. More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Wicomico County was started in 1968 by a group of people who wanted to help improve the lives of animals. We have come a long way in our 40+ years! We have a staff dedicated to making sure the animals that come to our doors are loved and protected as they wait for their forever home. Not only are our animals vaccinated, wormed and given flea preventative, we can treat animals that come to us with mange, ringworm, heartworm and pay for animals to be seen by an outside vet should there be a need. We have an on-site spay/neuter clinic that not only is used for our animals but we also offer low cost spay/neuter for animals of the public. We provide emergency boarding for victims of domestic abuse, fire, and medical emergencies. We also have the capability to set up an off-site emergency shelter for people evacuated from their homes. In addition, we have an education program to help teach kids about being a responsible pet guardian. We work with a wide range of rescue groups and our animals have been transported from our mid-Atlantic area throughout the North Eastern United States. Our shelter is an open admission shelter and we will take in approximately 3500 animals this year. We do what we do because of our love for animals and our desire to make a difference in their lives every single day.
