Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Furrnando is a unique DSH tabby and white cat who marches to the beat of his own drum. With his distinct markings and independent spirit, Furrnando is a cat who gives love on his own terms, at his own time. He’s not one to demand constant attention, but when he’s in the mood, he’ll show affection in his own special way. Furrnando appreciates his space and enjoys moments of solitude, but those who understand and respect his boundaries will be rewarded with his quiet companionship.
Though he’s a bit of a loner at heart, Furrnando’s love is genuine and worth the wait. He has a calm and composed demeanor, enjoying his time at his own pace. Once you’ve earned his trust, Furrnando can be the most loyal and laid-back companion, offering his unique brand of affection. He’s the perfect cat for someone who appreciates a little independence and understands that love, with Furrnando, comes when he’s ready to give it.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
