My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orange Juice is a sweet and sensitive DSH orange cat who thrives in a calm, patient environment. With his soft, golden fur and gentle demeanor, he may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s an affectionate and loving companion. Orange Juice can get overwhelmed quickly, so he appreciates a quiet, stress-free space where he can feel safe and relaxed. In such an environment, he blossoms into the cuddly, purring ball of joy that he truly is.

Once Orange Juice has settled in and built trust, he loves being pet and cuddled, soaking in the affection with a purr that melts hearts. He may not be the most outgoing at first, but his sweetness and need for a gentle, understanding touch make him a truly special companion. Orange Juice is the perfect cat for someone who has the time and patience to allow him to slowly open up, offering endless love and comfort once he feels secure.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
