My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Sabbath, but my foster family calls me Sabby or Sabatino. I'm a sweet, laid back and snuggly german shepherd with a loyal heart. I just really love to be where my humans are. I like to lay on the couch with you while you read or watch a movie, explore the neighborhood or a new hiking trail with you, or even just hang out and keep your feet warm while you work from home. Sometimes I get the zoomies, but once I have my daily walk I am ready to chill. I love getting dried off after a bath, or any pets really. I love massages and don't have any handling sensitivities!

While I may want to be an only dog household, when I see other dogs I like to say hey as we pass, but I am not reactive. I actually love to play with other dogs once I get to know them! I walk loosely on a leash and take treats very gently. I know sit and love broccoli and cheese, so I'm sure I could learn more with a little time and some snacks. I am even kennel and house trained! The one thing is that I can get a little nervous - especially with loud noises - so please be patient with me as I adjust to our new routine. I have adjusted quickly to my routine in foster.

My foster mom says that if you are looking for a snuggle bug to keep you cozy during these long winter days, who is also a very good boy, then I am your guy!
