My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziggy WiggleButt is a spunky 11lb terrier mix. Estimated to be about 1 year old. He has a big personality and big dog bark for a little guy.

When he came to me he was not house broken or even pad trained. Now that he has learned to use the dog door and following the other dogs out, we are working on the house breaking.

He plays so good with the other dogs, big and small. When he wants quiet time I find him on my bed all by himself. He sleeps with me at night. Sometimes likes to cuddle close then moves across the bed. He loves to snuggle on the bed at bedtime but he does not like to be carried or held otherwise. He is not a lap dog, is not comfortable on/in a lap.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in various states through our transport program. Our local adoption fee is $225 and out of state adoption fee is $600 per dog. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heartworm test, health certificate, flea/tick monthly preventative and transport costs. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call(Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Go meet their pets

We are always available for private meetings in Snyder, Sweetwater or Lubbock depending on where the animal is being fostered. We can arrange transport to almost anywhere in the US and several parts of Canada. We try to attend adoption events in Lubbock when we have volunteers and animals available.

Our cats can be seen at both Lubbock PetSmart locations and in the Pet Supplies Plus store on 82nd and Frankford.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue group based in Snyder, TX. All of our pets are kept in private homes by volunteer fosters in the Snyder, Sweetwater and Lubbock areas. Many of our dogs are transported to adopters out of state while most of our cats are adopted locally in the Lubbock area.

The rescue started in September of 2012 with rescuing one dog, and we quickly expanded our program. In our 10+ years we have rescued thousands of animals from west Texas streets and shelters.

We are always looking for new fosters, volunteers and can always use donations. For every dog or cat we can save there are 10X more that we can't. Please email us for information on fostering or volunteering!
