Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Even sweeter than his namesake, meet Welchs! This silly and sweet boy hasn`t let his rough start to life get him down, as he loves everyone that he meets! New situations and loud noises may be a little scary for him, however, so Welchs is hoping to find a quiet but active home to be a part of. There`s a chance he may do well with another feline in the home, but it`s unknown how he would do around dogs or other pets. Embrace all of the love, entertainment, (and responsibility!) of adding a kitten to your life; Welchs just hopes that you choose him!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
