Meet Hoss 7022
For those of you who are baby boomers, when you meet someone named Hoss, you instantly take a ride back to the days of the Ponderosa. Our very own Humane Society Hoss is of a very similar nature: big, strong, a friend to all humans, with a fondness for the female (canines). He has quite the range of expressions from happy to modest to “do I know you?”, to “don’t sit there”, to soft and friendly. He surprised the human as he walked past the doggy pond, turned, and stepped into the water and stood there for a moment. Then he continued his performance by settling down profoundly into a comfortable sit. He is a friendly fellow, but his adopter will have to be capable of handling a powerful canine using proper guidance and training.
