Did you know that SAAP’s motto is ‘once a SAAP dog, always a SAAP dog?’

Thanks to our motto, Laszlo is back with SAAP after being adopted in 2016 where we are committed to finding him a new home! He is a 10 years young pup! When he first came to SAAP, the shelter thought him to be a Shih Tzu mix but I think I see some Pomeranian in him too. Either way, he is definitely 100% adorably fluffy!!

He had extensive dental work which he is finishing up his meds and so, we will bathe him and get some better pics! He has been an absolute dream foster! Seems potty trained; super sweet; fairly quiet and when he does bark, it’s a very soft bark. He has been great with the dogs and ignores the resident cat! And bonus - he LOVES belly rubs!

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
