Kota is a 3 year old American Pitbull Terrier and ~40 pounds.

He’s housebroken, crate trained, and very smart so with more training he could be a fantastic dog. He’s been around a lot other dogs, and done well with every dog so far. He is pretty submissive so he doesn’t really need to be an alpha. He is a chaser, so a home without cats would be a better fit for him. Great with small kids and babies!

He has a classic pittie nature, very sweet and cuddly. He’s still young so he’s got some puppy energy but he’s well behaved. He loves to chew and destroy toys, but he knows what is allowed to be chewed. He would be a very adoring dog and just happy to have a person or a family.

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
