About Dottie formerly Zoe
Dottie is a boxer mix (Boxer, Beagle, and Great pyrenees). She will be 4 years old on November 27th, weighs 36lbs (medium size dog), Simperica Trio (flea, tick, and heart guard treatment), and current on all shots and check ups.
She is a very sweet, playful girl with lots of personality. She likes to play with the other animals, toys, will be talkative when in a good mood, loves to cuddle, be lazy and take naps, and will be your best friend if you allow her to sleep on the bed with you! She eats twice a day, good appetite. She is a gentle, non aggressive eater. She does get anxiety when it storms where she will pant and tremble. We give her trazodone for this (vet recommended). She has separation anxiety and would do well in a home that someone is home more vs being left alone for long periods of time.
She is house broken and doggie door trained. She uses a crate when left home alone, so she doesn’t chew anything (due to separation anxiety). She does well on the leash and enjoys going on walks. She does well in the car, with kids, adults, other dogs, and cats. Being that she’s social, but shy at first around new people, she prefers to be around people and other animals, vs sitting alone.
