Meet Chipper 7021
The Humane Society bark park called compellingly to Chipper as he waited expectantly to be chosen for an afternoon of freedom and frolic. When his kennel door opened Chipper excitedly joined the human and together, they walked the short distance to the playground. Two-year-old Chipper passed the usual sniff testing protocol and then showed off his interest in a variety of squeaky phenomena, especially the flying crab and the ever-popular tennis ball bounce. Chipper performs a sit on request and when called, comes running to the human with an eager wants to please focus. Chipper is a medium sized canine who takes treats gently and shares a lot of smiles. The best of all was the joyful eyes closed smile which whispered, “thank you for the park fun and a chance just to be close.”

Our adoption fee is $70 which covers all the basic shots and worming medications appropriate for the age of the animal as well as the required spaying or neutering. If the animal is too young to be neutered, a voucher is presented to the adopter to cover the process at a participating vet. Rabies shots are not included. We have an application process in which we ask basic questions to insure that you and the chosen pet are a good match for each other. We do require a vet reference. If you have been arrested and convicted of animal abuse or neglect, you will not be considered for adoption. If you do not own your home, a letter from the landlord giving permission to have a pet is required. Local ordinances regarding maximum numbers of pets shall be observed. All other household pets must be spayed or neutered. All pets are adopted "as is." Should the pet not work out after you take it home, we ask that you return the animal to us for re-homing. We want each animal to find a loving forever home and reserve the right to refuse any application should the individual needs of the chosen animal not be in that dog's best interest. Contact our office for inquiries and applications.
