Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cola, a girl as sweet as her name suggests (although maybe a bit less energetic)! Cola is a skinny shy gal who was found as a stray out in the cold and brought to the shelter.
Cola is a super shy girl at first but shows how much she opens up with treats and kind humans! She's looking for a kind human to take her in where her true personality can shine.
Cola is available for adoption at ACCT Philly. You can meet her any day from 10am-6pm!

Cola Sits for Treats: https://youtube.com/shorts/YBUg4AT-9g0?feature=share
Behavior:
Per Volunteer 12/6/24:
Aww such a skinny babe! Allowed me to leash easily and hopped out of the kennel with me without issues. No pulling on leash- walks very slow and stops to sniff frequently. Her tail was tucked the the whole time we were outside. Didn’t initiate much handling from me but was comfortable coming close to me and sitting near me. Sometimes took treats but sometimes not interested. When she did take treats she took them very gently! We went into the volunteer office since she seemed cold. She took to one staff member especially and really opened up! Took treats and pets from that staff member and was so gentle with handling. Just a nervous lady who warms up to be a super sweet gal!
Per Staff 12/3/24:
BEHAVIOR EVALUATION:
KNOWN HISTORY:
Stray
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Cola was laying down on her bed when approaching. She stayed on her bed when leashing her and slowly walked to the front after being leashed and exited easily without issue. No issues returning
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally
HANDLING:
In the room Cola was nervous and pretty timid and low energy. She sniffed around a bit and then went and sat under the table. She was tolerant to all handling, but did not have much interest in engaging with us. She would stiffen at times with too much handling and needed a slow and gentle approach. No interest in treats or toys. Very neutral at thai time
PLAY:
No interest
TOYS:
Perked up at the squeaker
COLOR LEVEL & ANY RECOMMENDATIONS:
Gold
