My name is Cooper!

Cooper was. Adopted from a county shelter a year and a half ago. We promised never to bring him back there. We tried for a year and a half to get him to get along with our other dog. He would be happier to live in a home with no other dogs He is a good listener, eager to please. Knows basic commands and will guard your property with a bark that’s louder than his little body. He is submissive to the Alpha human of the house, male or female.
He’s probably been thru a lot, He will chase cars and so, needs to be on a leash at all times. We walk him at night when it’s quiet and there’s less cars. He is crate trained and his crate will go with him. It is his safe space and sanctuary. He is also a cuddle bug and will keep you warm in bed, if you allow it. Otherwise, he’s fine with sleeping in his crate. He loves toys, will do anything for a treat. He’s good at playing fetch 50% of the time. He will carry around his favorite toy like a baby. He is a good boy who needs a better home.
