Handsome boy Cash! Such a softie guy with a goofy side, so ready to ditch the shelter! His previous family noted Cash enjoys meeting new people, learning new tricks, and using his nose to explore the world! He successfully interacted with children and may appreciate extra enrichment during down time to keep his mind busy!

Cash was apparently a well-trained boy before he came to Foothills. He knows sit, shake, and down, although he still needs some work on his leash walking skills. One of our walkers told us that he doesn't just know the commands, he snaps to them like a Marine!

Cash may enjoy opportunities for casual recreation with other dogs, but he's recommended not to share his living space with other canines at this time. Don't miss out on this softie boy!

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.

We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.

Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.

Foothills Animal Shelter, formerly known as Table Mountain Animal Center, is an open-admissions facility (never turning away an animal) and one of the largest animal shelters in the metro Denver area – taking in 9,000 animals each year. We are a true community resource that offers a broad variety of animal welfare programs and services.
