I adopted Forrest in April 2024 from a lively family with seven children and a dedicated work-from-home mom. From day one, he was impeccably potty and kennel trained, a testament to his previous family's loving care. However, in my single-parent household without children, Forrest hasn't been receiving the attention he truly deserves. He spends a lot of time alone, and it's evident that he's not as happy as he should be.
I also have another dog, and while they share a bond, Forrest often becomes jealous when I give attention to her. This jealousy sometimes leads to playful zoomies or him nudging his way into my focus. It's clear that Forrest would thrive in a single-dog household where he can receive undivided love and spend less time in his kennel. When my other dog isn't around, Forrest transforms into a completely different, affectionate companion.
Forrest is a wonderful, spirited dog who deserves a home where he can be the center of attention.
