Meet Jeffey - The Real Gentle Giant

Jeffey joined our family in October after being rescued from the Indianapolis Humane Society. While he’s an amazing addition, our German Shepherd’s strong personality unfortunately hasn’t made the transition easy.

Jeff is the definition of a gentle giant. Standing over 5 feet tall on his back legs, he’s a loving, sweet, and calm soul. He rarely barks, is fantastic with babies and cats (though supervision is always advised due to his size), and is an absolute cuddle bug. Despite his size, Jeffey firmly believes he’s a lap dog and loves resting his big, squishy head on your hand for affection.

At 3 years old, Jeffey is in his energetic “teenage” phase. He would thrive with an experienced owner who can give him plenty of walks, playtime, and structure. He comes with his medical records from the humane society and is in great health.
