Avery is a delightful 1.5-year-old black lab mix weighing 45 pounds and a heart of gold. This intelligent girl thrives on human interaction, eagerly seeking companionship and affection from those around her. Avery has mastered basic commands, making her a well-behaved addition to any household. Her friendly nature extends to all members of the family, as she is great with kids and gets along well with both dogs and cats. With her warm personality and playful energy, Avery is sure to bring joy to her forever home.

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
