Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cadbury and Meredith are a bonded pair who recently arrived here at the rescue. These two were originally found outside last winter after veing abandoned by their previous family, but they were luckily saved and brought inside by a neighbor who spotted them. If not for this neighbor, it is very unlikely that Cadbury and Meredith could have survived the harsh winter elements.
Cadbury is the boy with darker colored fur, and Meredith is the lighter colored lionhead girl. These two bunnies have been through a lot together, and this has resulted in them having a very strong bond. Given some of their past experiences, both bunnies can be a bit shy when they first meet you. However, with a bit of patience (and a treat or two), both bunnies warm up to people and begin to soak up the love!
If you're interested in meeting Cadbury and Meredith, please reach out and we can help get the process started.

More about this rescue
Bunny Lu Adoptions, Inc. is a volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) domestic rabbit rescue and education organization located in Waynesboro, Virginia. We are dedicated to educating people about the joys of having a house rabbit(s) companion and promoting care that will give those companions the best chance at a happy, healthy, long life.
Bunny Lu also provides temporary foster care to abandoned and neglected rabbits and arranges adoptions into loving, indoor, forever homes. While we do not condone the surrendering of rabbits, we understand that providing assistance to those people trying to improve their rabbits' quality of life sometimes requires finding a new home for the rabbits.
