This helps Fulton County Animal Center with pet care costs.
Whose looking for a "project" kitten?!
This little guy was born to a feral momma cat. He is coming around here with us, but will need extra love, affection and patience as he adjusts to understanding humans are really ok! He will benefit from being kept in a large dog crate to help acclimate him to living inside and adjusting to the sights, sounds and smells of your home. Lots of handling, quiet reassuring talking to and yummy food will help you to gain all his trust and overcome his fears.
He is sometimes spatty and hisses, but because he is scared of everything as it is all new to him. You must be confident and understand he may try to bite in fear, as he adjusts to not being a semi feral kitty!
You will feel a sense of accomplishment and he will be forever grateful (eventually) the day he completely relaxes and knows he is safe in your arms!
It will take him time to adjust to having kids around and dogs. Having another cat around will probably do him some good and help him understand how to be a kitty!
Neutered, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.
Interested in adopting a kitty from us?! Apply online here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/apply-to-adopt-a-cat
After your application is reviewed & approved, a staff member will be in contact to set up a time to come in to see our kittens & cats! If he or she is a match - they can go home with you on the same day! Remember to bring a cat carrier! If you don't have one, we have cardboard carriers available to purchase for an additional $5. All kittens & cats must leave FCAC in a secure carrier!
CLOSED Sunday/Thursday 11-4 Monday/Saturday 11-5 Tuesday/Friday 11-6 Wednesday
