My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lewis – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! 🐾🏃‍♂️

If you’re looking for a playful, energetic, and fun-loving best friend, Lewis is your guy! This sweet shepherd mix is always ready to run, chase, and play to his heart’s content. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a jog in the park, or just zooming around the yard, Lewis is happiest when he’s on the move! 🚀🐶

But don’t worry—after a good play session, he’s just as happy to soak up some love and relax with his favorite people. With his big heart, playful spirit, and endless energy, Lewis is ready to bring joy and excitement to his forever home.

If you’re looking for a running partner, playmate, and loyal companion all in one, Lewis is the perfect match for you! 🏡🐾

More about this shelter

It is our mission to inform our community of the state laws and city ordinances in place for vaccinations, tethering/chaining, and sheltering needs. Any dog impounded by our shelter can be reclaimed by his rightful owner during a 72 hour hold period. If the dog brought in has any type of identification we will make reasonable effort to contact the owner and the hold period will be 5 business days. Once the hold period is up, all healthy/adoptable dogs will be put up for adoption or sent to a registered 501(c)3 rescue. Please LIKE and SHARE our page to see incoming dogs!
