Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is pending euthanization at the North Augusta Pound in South Carolina. We have working with our partners in that area for over two years saving lives and reducing euthanization rates. Freya(Frazier) is one of those dogs. The North Augusta Pound is instructed by the CITY to euthanize dogs every month for space. With the help of FONAA who helps cover basic medical care (vaccines, preventatives, and testing), and the many volunteers down there, we work hard to save lives and bring them back home.
IMPORTANT: Freya is scheduled for euthanization right before Christmas HOWEVER, our team is scheduled to go to South Carolina to drop off a dog for adoption. We would be able to bring Freya back to Ohio this weekend 12/13-12/15. We may be her only chance for freedom as she sits at the wet kennels waiting for someone to come get her. We will not commit to her AFTER the fact due to transport booked for the month.
FREYA
2 Years Old
Lab/Retriever Mix
Female
Dog and Kid Friendly
Background: Freya was found as a stray. Her coat was in great condition and she appeared "well-fed", however, no one came to pick her up. Now her stray hold is up and she will soon be euthanized for space.
NOTES:
? We cannot cat test at this time.
? If she is not spayed, it would be scheduled at adoption.
? All local adoptions are Foster to Adopt. Out of State Adopters are adoption at drop off with a 7 day grace period.

Additional adoption info
We always start off with the application reviewing them at a first come, first serve basis. We look for the best possible compatibility and may ask questions to help to determine if you would be a great possible match. Next, we schedule something known as a "Happy Visit" where you can meet your potential new family member. We usually do this at your property which also covers the brief home visit. However, we also have adoption events or can meet in neutral locations for some animals. Afterwards, you sign an adoption contract and pay for their adoption fee.
ALL adopters must go through a Foster to Adopt before finalizing to ensure it's a good fit.
We check in on a 3-3-3 basis to make sure everything is going well between your new pet while providing resources to help make transitioning smoother.
