My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To meet Bolt, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt .

This playful and friendly pup is ready to find his forever home. Bolt is a social butterfly who loves spending time with both people and other dogs. While he’s not a fan of cats, his big heart and friendly demeanor make him an excellent companion for a home without feline friends.

Bolt strikes the perfect balance of energy with his medium energy level. He’s always up for a game of fetch or some fun playtime with his dog buddies. He also enjoys his walks and is a pro on the leash, making outdoor adventures together a breeze. One thing to know about Bolt—he’s not a fan of water, so he’s happy to keep his paws dry while exploring on land!

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving pup to brighten your days, Bolt could be your perfect match. He’s eager to find a family to share his playful spirit and affectionate personality with. Could Bolt be the one for you?

More about this rescue

We opened in December 2019 as a dog cafe. 3 months later we had to shut down due to Covid. We resumed operations in December 2020 but are solely doing adoptions. We hope to reopen the cafe sometime in the future. Our CEO has 3 dogs that she adopted from a shelter. Her experience at a high-kill shelter inspired her to start a halfway home for dogs while searching for their forever home. Our dogs spend a considerable amount of time playing with one another, thanks to proper introduction and close supervision during playtime. We only take in a small number of dogs to ensure each one gets plenty of one-on-one time with us. This also allows us to work with more fearful/shy/reactive dogs and adopt them out once they’re ready.
