Pie is the sweetest little girl! She wants to cuddle and play and is always looking to do the right thing. She doesn’t look for mischief but responds immediately to a very gentle correction when necessary. She loves to be inside, in the hubbub of the home, and with her foster family.
She is potty trained and goes potty every time she’s taken outside, she even goes poop (like clockwork) directly after she eats, and then she’s ready to be back inside. She loves her crate and knows it’s a safe and clean space (zero crate accidents!). She sleeps all night and quickly adjusted to her foster home’s sleep routine :)
She is very attached to her human and would love for her human (currently her foster mom) to be in her line of site at all times. She plays so nicely with her human foster siblings (13, 7, and 6), and loves her dog foster sibling. She loves to bark at the cat, and really wants to get in her space, but responds well to the cats corrections :)
Her stitches are out and she is raring and ready to go. She loves to zoom back and forth between her favorite spaces in our home, chew on rope toys, check in with her foster siblings (human and otherwise), and she loves a treat. She is still learning to navigate leash walks. When on a leash she is very aware of her surroundings and loud noises give her pause, which would make sense given what happened to her! Every afternoon we walk to pick up her human foster siblings (from school) and she is so incredibly gentle with everyone and SO very popular. Her sweet face gives everyone pause and her kind demeanor has them coming back each day for their Pie time :). And with each walk we take she is getting more and more confident and comfortable on the leash and among the “noise”.
Pie may only have 3 legs but she has the hugest heart and will be the greatest addition to any home.
