Meet Paprika! This little 3 month old kitten has personality plus!! And check out her super unique hair – it can’t seem to decide if it wants to be super long or short, but she’s definitely very soft and such a unique color! She and her sister (Chili Pepper) were rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. She is very outgoing and friendly and was so excited to explore her foster home! Even though she is the tiniest little thing, she bosses all the other cats around (even the big adult male cats!) Don’t get us wrong, she loves the other cats and is very sweet to them, but they all know that she gets to eat first and they have to wait their turn! She loves the kids in her foster home and will climb right up onto their lap and kiss them on the lips. She’s a definite lap cat and snuggle bug. She enjoys playing with her toys as well. She’s not afraid of anything, not even dogs. If you’re looking for an awesome pair, she gets along fabulously with her sister, Chili Pepper! We give discounts for adopting pairs!
This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $250
Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care!

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
