Meet Cilantro! He’s about 3.5 months old and was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. He has the cutest coloring – pure white with a little black smudge on the top of his head. It’s the perfect target for a kiss. He is very friendly, outgoing and affectionate. He loves to explore, and he enjoys playing with his toys and with his friends. He will climb up on your lap when you sit down and loves to be pet. He’s a sweet and fun kitten who will be an excellent addition to your home!
If you happen to be looking for an awesome pair, his brother, Salt, is available as well (and we give discounts for adopting pairs)! https://www.delawarepetrescue.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21114515
This cat is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $200
Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care!

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
