Meet Montana, an absolutely adorable 6-month-old Husky mix, who might have a little Shepherd in him too!

Montana and his siblings were surrendered to a shelter in South Carolina, and SNARR stepped in to give them a second chance. Now, he’s made the big journey to New York and is safe in a loving foster home, waiting to find his forever family!

Montana is as sweet as can be and has the playful, energetic spirit typical of a Husky mix. He loves to run around, play with toys, and explore his surroundings. He’s also great with other dogs and adores people of all ages. With his striking looks and friendly personality, Montana will make a wonderful addition to any family!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
