Meet Tatum, this 6-month-old black lab mix with beautiful golden brown eyes a heart full of love!

This sweet girl was found as a stray puppy in Georgia alongside her brother Tank, and has since made her way to New York, where she’s now thriving in her foster home as she patiently waits to find her forever family.

Incredibly sweet and affectionate, Tatum makes friends easily, usually eager to greet them with a fully body wiggle and happy tail wag. Her playful and social nature shines when she's in the presence of other dogs, big or small, plus she's even good with cats!

Tatum loves to be around her people, whether it's snuggling up on the couch, riding shot gun while accompanying you on errands, or keeping you company under your desk while you're working. She enjoys accompanying her foster dad to the office and gets to interact with new people almost daily. At only 6 months, she has proven to be quite adaptable with a great demeanor and overall is such a good girl!

While she’s quite happy in her foster home, Tatum dreams of finding a forever family where she can be showered with love and give plenty of snuggles in return. If you're looking for a sweet, loving pup to add to your family, Tatum is ready and waiting... and she will make an amazing addition to just about any home!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
