Meet Victoria & Geri! Victoria has a stunning coat of silky shiny hair that is so soft and luxurious! Her sister Geri is equally unique with her blonde and brown hair. These two adorable sisters were surrendered to DPR when their owners said they no longer had space for them. They are well behaved and affectionate and were well cared for in their previous home. They have grown up with kids and were wonderful pets, and are looking for a new home where they will be loved members of the family. They are very comfortable being held and cuddled. They are very vocal girls and as soon as they hear you come home, they will squeel with excitement and run to the front of the cage to say hi! They love when it's time for their fresh fruits and veggies. They are an awesome pair of guinea pigs and we know you'll love them!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption.
Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up 'curb side'. Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR was established in 2004 as a 501(c) non profit organize and an all volunteer rescue organization. We are not a shelter. We rescue both cats and dogs. We care for these pets in our foster homes until proper and stable homes are found through a multi-step adoption process. Our ultimate goal is to match families with our pets so that they live out their lives in loving, educated, safe homes for the remainder of their lives. Our additional goals in rescue are to educate the public in the importance of spaying/neutering and exposing the truth behind pet store puppys and the horrors of puppy mills.
