Crayola is a 3 month old Italian Greyhound mix who’s ready to scribble her perfect forever family! Crayola was rescued from the shelter where she was hanging out all alone in a big pen. We couldn’t leave this little pipsqueak behind so we scooped her up and were instantly showered in puppy kisses! Crayola currently weighs 6 pounds and will stay on the smaller side when she is fully grown. This lovely little lady is just adorable and we can’t wait to see the paintings she creates with her forever people!

Crayola is a cuddly, mischievous little puppy who’s looking for her people to scoop her into their arms and never let her go! She learned quickly that she’s a passenger princess and loves being carried from room to room. Crayola adores her people and just wants to show them all the love she can. Crayola lives with several dogs and loves playing with them, racing in between their legs as she dashes off with the toy, waiting for someone to catch up with her. Crayola is the perfect energy level blend. When you’re holding her or cuddling her, she’s happy to lounge the hours away. As she’s gained her confidence, she’s started to explore the yard more and see what all the fuss is about. She’d be a perfect pup if you’re hoping for an errand buddy, as long as you end up at the coffee shop for a Crayola-sized pup cup! Crayola’s dream home is a family ready to love her with their whole being. She is such a little darling who deserves the very best treats and the softest blankets! With her adorable little underbite, you won’t be able to resist the desire to scoop her up and never put her back down!

Crayola starts her day around 8 AM when her foster mom and canine foster siblings wake up. She gets lots of snuggles in the morning until she’s ready for her breakfast. Once she’s eaten, she curls up for a nap. Her days are spent playing in the house, chasing toys in the yard, eating lots of snacks and meals, and getting all the cuddles she can! Crayola eats three times a day: 8 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM. She’s always down for a play session until she flops over for a nap. In the evening, she gets some lap time until she’s ready for bed in her pen.

Crayola lives with dogs of all sizes, including a huge lab, and gets along with them all. She loves meeting new people as it means more humans ready to snuggle with her. Interested homes should be prepared to continue her training and socialization. Ready to create your next masterpiece? Pick up a pack of our adorable Crayola markers today!

Crayola is only an option for homes who have previously owned a dog. Due to her small size, kids should be over the age of 8.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
