Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In Portland
Meet Izzy, a beautiful female blue merle Australian Shepherd with a tail! She is still very much a puppy at 18 months and has a lot of energy. She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped, potty trained (including using a doggie door) and crate trained. She knows some commands like sit, down and shake, and loves to play fetch with a ball or frisbee!
This affectionate girl gets along with every person and dog she encounters. She needs some work with manners and likes to jump on people, so smaller children might not be a good fit. Izzy would do well in a home as a single dog or having a friend to play with!
Likes:
- Being brushed, however is not fond of going to the groomer, or getting a bath
- Being pet and loves attention
- Being with her family. She likes to be under foot and near her people
- Playing with dog friends
- Chasing balls/frisbee
Izzy has not been cat tested.
She would do best in a home where she has space to run and play with other dogs and where she can get frequent exercise. She would be a perfect companion for daily walks or runs, hiking or other activities that will keep her busy. She does chill under your feet, so she is not always 'on.' She is very smart and would make an excellent agility or flyball dog.
Izzy is currently being fostered in Portland, Or
