My name is Sammie!

Hi I'm Sammie! I'm a gentle soul with a short, brown striped coat and a heart that's just waiting to feel safe and loved again. I was born approximately 11/14/2020 near Canon City, CO and my life turned upside down when my person passed away, but I'm hopeful that I'll find another loving home - ideally with my sister Susie, by my side. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel comfortable, I'll roll over for pets and purr my thanks! I especially love chin and butt scratches, and the one thing that brings me out of my shell is playtime! Wand toys are my absolute favorite! I can't resist chasing and pouching, and it's such a fun way to bond with me. Being brushed is also one of my favorite things--it's so relaxing! I'm the kind of guy who thrives in a calm, patient home where I can take my time to come out of my shell. I think I'd do well with older kids who understand I am more at ease in a peaceful home with a calm feline roommate (Susie) or a gentle doggie friend, as long as you follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats!
