My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie This beautiful young at heart lady is looking to score the amazing family she has been waiting her whole life for. Josie is such a good girl and a total doll! She has perfect home manners, is house, leash and crate trained and greets everyone with a tail wag and a smile. She loves going for car rides and getting as much affection from her people as you are willing to give. When it’s time to move on with chores, she finds a quiet spot to rest until you need another affirmation that she loves you and will always be there when you need her. She is a true best friend. Josie is a Boston terrier mix around 9-10 years old. She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, just got a lovely dental cleaning and is so ready to spend her forever with you. More about this rescue

Rosalie and Friends was created out of the President's dedication to help the under dogs and cats. She has taken in and rehabilitated the sick and injured for years. Late 2022 a well respected animal 501c3, Friends of the Escambia County Animal Shelter, dissolved and turned the organization over to Rosalie and Friends. We have assumed responsibility of several programs from them, to include sponsorship for heartworm treatment of animals adopted through the shelter. We also provide medical assistance for shelter animals and have a fospice program to get senior pets from the shelter and into loving homes through end of life. Our logo is "Fospice and fixer uppers" but that has not stopped us from helping others that cross our paths.
