Looking for a loving home for our 3 year old dog, Otis. We adopted Otis at 12 weeks from Rural Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC. For the first 2.5 years of his life, he adjusted very well to our family, which consisted of 2 teenage boys and an existing dog, 5 years older than he. Otis is energetic, food driven, and easily trainable. In the last few months he has lashed out at our older dog on several occasions that has raised some concerns about whether they can continue to coexist long term. Although we have tried various strategies, it would be best for us and Otis to find a new home where he can be the only dog.
He is neutered, healthy, up-to-date on all of his shots, and chipped. Otis is extremely loving and affectionate with his people. He loves belly rubs and enjoys the outdoors. Otis is crate trained and lives in a house with a fenced in yard and has always had a mid-day dog walker.
