My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy post Meet Scrapple Dapple Doo aka Scrappy! Scrappy is a 3-year-old shepherd mix with a gorgeous brindle coat that earned him the nickname “our brindle fox.” This handsome boy is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and ready for his forever home! Scrappy is a bundle of playful energy and goofy charm. He loves to run, jump, and has a talent for making everyone around him smile. He’s great with kids and has a special bond with one of our cats, Neptune, who enjoys their playful wrestling matches. Scrappy adores car rides, treats, and cuddles—he’ll happily smother you in kisses and doesn’t understand the concept of personal space (he’d climb right into your skin if he could!). While Scrappy does well with our dog Olive, he isn’t a fan of every dog he meets, so slow introductions would be key. He’s got a big bark, but don’t let that fool you—he’s all love and no bite. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, and slightly mischievous companion, Scrappy could be your perfect match! Contact Helen at 443-252-1902 to meet this special boy. More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
