My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dickens is a lively, spirited kitten with a love for play and adventure. Wrestling matches with his brother, Rascal, are his favorite pastime, showcasing his boundless energy. But Dickens also has an incredibly affectionate side. He loves being with you and will follow you from room to room, happily sitting by your side all day, purring contentedly.

A true cuddle bug when he chooses to be, he’ll climb onto your chest to give sweet kitten kisses or snuggle right by your head when it’s time to sleep, always wanting to be as close as possible. While he values his independence, Dickens can’t resist joining in for cuddles when he sees his brother getting attention, often trying to out-snuggle and out-purr him. Dickens is a sweet, loving boy with endless energy and a heart full of affection.

Our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.

Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.

We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

More about this rescue

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
