MEET LILY!
So, this is Lily. She is a Pedigree Rat Terrier. She was 8 years old in October. She is house broken and loves to be in your lap all the time. Wonderful lap dog, making up for years of neglect. She has never been allowed to be a dog. She has been bred every time she has come in heat. Every time! She was infested with fleas when I got her, and carting with her 4 nursing puppies. She is such an alert bright older girl. Full of life. Loves to run and play. Devoted to her pups. They are now weaned. Lily will take her, "No More Babies Challenge" the first week in January She has received all vaccinations and Bortatella. She is heartworm negative and takes Heartguard Plus. Due to 7 yrs without vet care, she will receive booster shot when spayed in Jan. She needs love. Lots of love and a place to call forever home now. She loves to play with all her new found toys, especially crinckle paper toys and the ones that squeak. Does anyone have a special heart for a special older lady? You will need quite a fence. She can climb over a standard chain link and runs like the wind. However, at this time she shows no interest in leaving the yard. She is house broken. Looks you in the eyes and paws up to go out. Comes in on her own through the doggie door but prefers to have door opend to go out...like she needs permission or something. She truly is a wonderful lady! St. Louis Metro Area.
