Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY

Meet Kash. He’s a male 3yr old Pittie who will be 4yrs in March. His mom has mobility issues and can no longer properly care for Kash. He’s just too big for her, weighing over 100lbs. He’s still young so he’s got lots of energy. A large fenced-in yard would be ideal. He lived with another dog and a cat, so he is familiar with both. He’s also been around children, but 13yrs+ is recommended due to his size. He is chipped, neutered and UTD on all.

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island.
