Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emily is a 2-3 year old, 11 lb spayed Yorkshire Terrier (best guess) mix. Emily came to us after she was dumped on a local highway. It’s a miracle that she didn’t get run over.
She is an extremely loving girl that absolutely adores her humans once she feels safe. Emily is an extremely shy and fearful little girl. Who could blame her when the person she trusted left her by the side of the road? She honestly is a great girl who is just going to need some time to adjust to her forever home. I’m confident that in time with lots of love and patience she will overcome her fear.
With all this precious little girl has been through Emily still enjoys car rides.
Emily is looking for a quiet adult only home. She is frightened of children and strangers coming into the home and will hide. Emily gets along with the other small dogs in her foster home. She can, however, be a little bossy at times.
Emily is house trained with reminders. She is also potty pad trained. A small dog secure fenced yard is preferred for her.
Emily is up to date on her vaccinations. Heartworm negative, she is current on heartworm and flea prevention as well as spayed and microchipped.
Emily’s adoption fee is $475.
You must complete and submit an adoption application before a meeting with Emily can be scheduled. The application serves as a basis for a conversation.
If you believe this wonderful little girl is for you, then go to heathersfosterdogs.org to complete and submit your application. Using the menu at the top of the page, click on “Adoption Application.” Submit your completed application & you will be contacted.
