**Meet Dyson (formerly Pythagoras)**
Breed: APBT/Staffordshire Terrier Mix Weight: 62 lbs of pure charm
Age: Approximately 1 year old (just old enough to know better!)
Status: Available for pre-adoption (serious inquiries only – no catfishing!) he is just waiting on one appt and will be 100% clear!
**Background**
Dyson’s adventure began when the Memphis Police Department met their match on November 14th. This big boy charmed the officers so much that they decided to take him for a joyride instead of taking him into custody. Who needs donuts when you can have a dog like Dyson? After being transferred to MAS (Memphis Animal Services), Team Memphis Rescue swooped in like superheroes to save the day!
**Personality**
Dyson is the quintessential gentle giant! Picture a big teddy bear that loves to play but also knows when to chill. So chill, in fact, you’d think he was taking THC, but nope—that’s just Dyson being his mellow self! He loves people and is eager to please, always trying to be the best boy he can be. Dyson particularly likes female dogs and has shown a gentle and friendly demeanor towards them, making him a great candidate for a multi-dog household.
Despite his impressive size, Dyson doesn’t quite understand that he’s not a lap dog. He’ll happily try to curl up on your lap, convinced that he’s the perfect cuddle buddy! When he wants attention, he gently places his paw on your leg, a sweet and subtle way of saying, “Hey, don’t forget about me!” He’s like the friend who shows up to the party and knows how to keep it low-key. Dyson enjoys engaging with folks but respects personal space—no jumping in your face like an over-caffeinated puppy! He's got a special soft spot for puppies, proving that he’s a super gentle giant who’s ready to be the best big brother ever!

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.
