Meet Dyson (formerly Pythagoras)

**Background**

Dyson's adventure began when he was picked up by the Memphis Police Department on November 14th. This big boy charmed the police officers so much that they decided to put him in the back seat of their squad car instead of taking him into custody. Rather than causing chaos, Dyson was just waiting for someone to rescue him and give him the love he deserves. After being transferred to MAS (Memphis Animal Services), he was pulled from the critical list by Team Memphis Rescue, who recognized his potential as a lovable companion.

**Personality**

Dyson is the quintessential gentle giant! With his mellow and easygoing nature, he’s a blend of playfulness and relaxation. He is very friendly and enjoys engaging with people. However, his compatibility with family dynamics and other dogs is still to be determined, so a meet-and-greet would be essential to see how he interacts with potential family members and furry siblings.

Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.
