My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This tri- colored. Doberman/Hound mix is named Kane. He is majestic, regal, handsome, and stunning. He is a two year-old 57 pound sweetheart that was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/9 by a concerned citizen. You can tell from his body language in the photos that he is scared. He jumps at loud noises and flinches when you reach for him. A dog barked at him and he tried to run off. He will need more positive affirmations and a slow introduction. He would do best with a laid-back family with older children. I don’t know whether he knows the sit command. I do know he walks very well on a leash. He walked right beside me. He did his business when he got out into the yard and kept his kennel clean. At one point I was sitting on the bench and didn’t even call him and he came to me so he does want to make friends. He’s very gentle, sweet, affectionate, and attentive. He wants to be an inside dog so he can hang out with his new family during family time.
