Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My name is PeeWee and I sure couldn`t be sweeter! Funny thing, I`ve never learned how to walk on a leash! It doesn`t stop me from loving people, but I can get overwhelmed easily due to my limited socialization in my life. The team is working with me, though I would benefit from a home committed to positive reinforcement training. My adoption comes with a complimentary session with a member of HSPPR`s behavior team. Lucky me!

More about this shelter
We provide compassionate care for nearly 5,000 animals each year. Most of the animals that come to our shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray pets found wandering in the areas we serve. Dogs and cats are the most common, although a wide variety of other animals may be found at the shelter as well, including birds, snakes, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.
