My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lively and a quick like Saint Nick?! I get the feeling that this deserving boy hasn’t had a lot of socialization. When I sat down he did come to me and seemed to enjoy having his ears scratched. He is a one-year-old 51 pound black-and-white terrier pit that came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/9 as a stray. When he first got out into the yard, he spent considerable time checking everything out with his nose. He’s extremely alert and curious. He does jump on you occasionally but gets down when told to do so. He knows the sit command and will sit when he wants to. He is active and likes to be on the move. He would do best with the yard to romp in, but yet would want to spend most of his time in the house with his new family. He is fun loving, friendly, and playful. He had a strong strong pull on on the leash. He was not interested in meeting other dogs. If you have another dog, please ask the shelter for a dog test. I know that Lincoln would benefit from lots of loving. Are you willing to give it to him?
