We adopted Rommie in 2018 from the Yakima Humane Society. He had scars on his face and was anxious. He soon took to us and became so sweet and loyal. We love him. 😠We have two children now and he and my active toddler do not get along. My son will try to pet him gently and Rommie growls and shows his teeth. He loves older children (like 10+) and adults, but little children are too much for him and make him nervous. Rommie is a sweet, loyal, and active dog. He loves to cuddle and follow around people he trusts. He is still very active for his age, preferring walks almost every day, otherwise he gets a bit restless. He does have a bit of anxiety so little children, big dogs, and loud noises scare him. It really pains us to give him up. We think he would do best in a home with no other pets. (small dogs maybe) and no children unless they are teenagers. He is also used to being babied 😅 and only a semi- outside dog. Inside most of the time.
