Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Olive is a beautiful, healthy and very sweet 5 year old, 55 pound mix dog. She is located in Owings Mills, MD.
She is an active dog, loves going on walks and running around. She loves having doggy friends, but may need a home where she is the only dog as she gets possessive over her things and may not enjoy having to share with a doggy sibling.
She is great with children, but takes time to get to know and trust them before she gives all of her love. Once you have it, she is your best friend for life.
Olive will need a home where her owners can dedicate the time to properly training and exercising her. She is eager to learn and loves her training sessions.
Olive will need some additional help with her leash reactivity on walks, but she has come a long way! Olive is nervous and anxious when new people enter her home, so she will need guidance and patience with this too.
Olive will thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who likes to take her on adventures with them or has a large fenced in property, where she can run around and explore.
Please Note:
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, and tickborne tests, as well as regular monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. Please contact your veterinarian’s office to give them permission to speak to us before we call them.
Applications are available at www.puppypawsrescue.org
If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame.
