ZIPPER was found dumped in a field along with her siblings (Thimble, Buttons and Bobbin) and is now looking for her forever family. She’s had her first vaccine, a microchip, several doses of dewormer and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. Her spay is included in the adoption fee and it’s booked for January 28th and her adopter must be available to bring her to the clinic in Barrie for it. She’s definitely the quieter one in the litter and likes to spend her days with her human. She loves her snuggles and will cradle herself in the crook of your arm and take a nap.
ZIPPER will run around and play with the other kitties in the home and also chase the cat toys across the floor especially a little woven mouse toy. She also enjoys lounging in the cat tree and will take the odd nap in it too. One of her favourite things to do is playing in the squishy cat gift box house and she often plays in it with the other kittens.
ZIPPER is litter box trained and has used it since first coming into rescue. As much as this little lady is the quiet one she’s also an adventurous one and likes to check out all the nooks and crannies in the room to find any hidden toys. She’s also a loving purr machine and you only have to hold her to set those purrs off. She’s fostered with a puppy who loves to chase the kittens but he’s very gentle with them. We feel she’ll do well with a cat savvy dog as long as a slow, monitored introduction is made and the dog should be leashed at that time too. She would do well with another feline companion but one who’s pretty laid back like she is. Children should be age 6 plus and be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.
If ZIPPER sounds like the little lady for you then please put in an adoption application to meet her.
