Sister of Petunia

Susie Q is a beautiful kitten. She and her sister, Petunia, were born to a feral mama cat and raised together, just the two of them. Once they were old enough to leave mama, they moved into their foster home.

Susie Q and her sister are expert biscuit makers. She loves to knead her little paws on whatever surface she can grab on to. She LOVES to play and run around with her sister. She especially loves crinkle toys and any kind of ball. She tries her hardest to play with two toys at once!

Susie Q is the definition of demure. She’s not as adventurous as her sister and likes her space every once in a while. She can be found following Petunia’s lead. While she’s not very snuggly, she loves to have her human throw her toys for her to chase! Both her and her sister will greet their human with loud purrs whenever they approach to show their excitement. They want their human to play with them all the time!

Susie Q wants to go to her forever home with her dear sister Petunia. They make a gorgeous pair! They both do well with other cats in the house.

We also have cats online on our website or adoptapet.org. Some cats may be in foster care, but we can arrange to have the available to meet

Submit Application

If you'd like to adopt a cat or kitten, great. We love finding them forever homes. Complete an online application on oue website

3.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we will ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal aoption fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

More about this rescue

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
