Today I: got to go on my first doggie day out and I was so excited to go out with my friend! I needed a boost getting in the car the first time but after that I had it figured out and didn’t need any help. I enjoyed sniffing all over the backseat and out the window and rolling around in the back while we drove to the park. I wanted to say hi to all the people, dogs, and bikes we passed (but especially the dogs – so many potential new friends!). I really wanted to chase the squirrels and birds (but my friend wouldn’t let me), and I liked checking under bushes for critters. At the end of our walk I got a pup cup, yum!
Three Words to Describe Me are: Happy-go-lucky, Loving, Inquisitive Notes from My Walker: Mozzy is a super sweet and affectionate boy, he loves attention, pets, and snuggling and is convinced he is a lap dog. He was very excited and wiggly when he came out, but it still didn’t take long to get him leashed up. He was a little unsure about jumping in the car on his first go, so I gave him a little boost but after that he had no issues jumping in on his own. He was good in the car and enjoyed sniffing all over and rolling around in the back. Once we got to the park, he was excited to get walking, he can be a bit of a puller (especially if he sees another dog or a critter). He is non-reactive to other dogs, people, bikes, or cars on the trail (and would quite like to say hi to everyone). He does really want to say hi to other dogs (no barking or lunging but will pull strongly towards them). He also would very much like to chase the birds and squirrels and enjoyed checking under bushes for any critters. He is very treat and attention motivated and has a strong sit. Mozzy is such a happy and sweet boy, he is just as happy to go on an adventure as he is to snuggle on the couch.
