Meet Bagheera, a gentle and loving companion with a playful streak! While he may be a little shy at first, give him time, and his affectionate personality will shine through. Bagheera has lived with another cat before and might make a fantastic new sibling for your resident feline.

This goofy guy can’t resist toys—especially anything on a string! Watching him go bonkers for playtime is sure to bring a smile to your face. At the end of the day, Bagheera loves curling up at your feet and will always be ready to greet you with a warm “hello” when you come home.

If you’re looking for a sweet and playful buddy, Bagheera could be the perfect match!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
