Meet Aimee! This gentle girl may be a little cautious at first, but with a little patience (and a treat or two), she’ll be warming up to you before you know it. Since leaving the shelter, Aimee has become so much more relaxed, and her loving, loyal nature truly shines. Within an hour of meeting someone new, she’ll be right by your side, nudging for attention and happy to cozy up next to you.
Aimee is kennel trained, gets along well with other dogs, and would be a great fit for a multi-pet household. She’s also wonderful with kids, especially those over 10, as her excitement sometimes leads to playful jumping. She adores soft stuffed animals to chew on and may let out a little howl when she’s extra happy.
Aimee enjoys a few walks each day, and she’s always excited to go outside and explore. Check out this cute video of her sitting for a treat. With just a little time and love, she’ll bring joy, companionship, and that special kind of loyalty only a dog like Aimee can offer.
Aimee is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
